    I called Michael Leu’s studio, a couple of days after my wife, Zoe-Anne Fitzhugh passed away on June 29. I had a vision of creating a tribute/memorial website that would honor Zoe-Anne and her only request: to let people know that if they wanted to make a financial contribution to a charity, she would like them to make it to Best Friends Animal Society. We had talked extensively about ways to make her tribute a Spay & Neuter awareness campaign and have it benefit Best Friends.

    I’m not sure what possessed me, but I called the studio and asked if there was any way Michael was available to do a Tribute drawing of Zoe-Anne with our two cats and her “ZOEY 4 Spay & Neuter” license plate.

    Michael was apparently moved by Zoe’s story and the idea of helping animals, so he signed and donated the posters for the drawing.
